How to Download Caste Certificate Online
Once your caste certificate application is approved, you can download the digitally signed certificate from your state's official portal. Here is the exact process.
Download steps
Visit your state's official portal
Go to the e-District or citizen service portal of your state (for example, e-District UP at edistrict.up.gov.in, or the RTPS portal in Bihar). Use only the official government portal — never a third-party site asking for payment.
Log in to your account
Sign in with the mobile number or credentials you used when applying. If you applied offline, many portals still let you download using just the acknowledgement number.
Open the download / issued documents section
Look for options like 'Download Certificate', 'Issued Documents' or 'Track Application'. Select the caste certificate service.
Enter your acknowledgement number
Type the application or acknowledgement number you received at the time of applying, along with any other detail asked (such as date of birth or registered mobile number).
Download the digitally signed PDF
Once the status shows as approved, the download button appears. Save the PDF and take a printout — the digital signature makes it valid without a physical stamp.
